Ingredients for Sandy Ottoway Porter’s Creamy Chicken and Noodles
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 medium Onion chopped
- 2 tablespoons Minced garlic
- 4 cups Chicken broth homemade from parboiling my chicken
- 1 cup Heavy/whipping cream
- 2 (10.5) ounce cans Condensed cream of chicken soup
- 6 chicken quarters Shredded cooked chicken, you can use rotisserie.
- To taste Salt & pepper
- 1 Box Pasta, your choice
Steps to Preparing Sandy Ottoway Porter’s Creamy Chicken and Noodles
I parboiled my chicken in water and let it cook into a broth.
In a skillet, sauté the onion in the butter for 4-5 minutes over medium heat. Stir in the garlic and cook for 30 seconds
In the crockpot Add in the chicken broth, heavy cream, and cream of chicken soup. Stir until combined and increase the heat to high.add garlic and onions and the chicken. Salt and pepper.
Cook on high for 6 hours.
Cook your pasta, drain and add to crockpot about 10 minutes before serving.
If the sauce is thin stir in a cornstarch rue and let it thicken with the lid off.
